Histological research in endodontics
Lab-course by Domenico Ricucci in Cetraro
This is a unique 2-day course for clinicians who wish to have an in-depth knowledge about the methodologies to process human teeth for light microscopy and researchers who want to perform histologic analysis of teeth and their surrounding structures in relation to clinical research. Its main purpose is to give the fundamental bases on the methodology of histologic research applied to the study of pulp and periapical disease, so that participants be familiar with "reading" histologic images.

Attendees will learn the protocols to obtain biopsies and to process the specimens for conventional light microscopy.

Exclusive group of 8 participants maximum
Lab-course by Domenico Ricucci in Cetraro
This is a unique course provided by Dr. Domenico Ricucci in his private laboratory where the maximum number of participants is only 8. Each participant will have an opportunity to learn directly from Dr. Ricucci all the steps of the histological research in endodontics in a very exclusive way.

Calabria, Cetraro. Home of Dr. Ricucci.
Lab-course by Domenico Ricucci in Cetraro
Calabria is a land of sparkling turquoise waters, endless green mountains and charming medieval villages. With a rich history back to Byzantine conquerors, Calabria is the 'toe' of Italy's boot, just waiting to be discovered. Cetraro - home town of Dr. Ricucci - is a town and comune in the province of Cosenza in the Calabria region of southern Italy. Cetraro beachside area is about 100 m large and some kilometers long, and it lies between two promontories. At the foot of the North promontory, a cliff emerges, while south, among small beaches and high rocks, some caves are suggestively grouped and they are referred to as Cave of Colonne and Cave of Rizzo. You will love it for sure!

Since 1998 he has run his own histology laboratory and his primary research interest relates to pulpal and periapical tissue reactions to caries and treatment procedures, biofilms in endodontic infections, etiology of RTC treatment failure, pulp regeneration / revascularization.

Dr Ricucci has published 112 papers and has lectured both nationally and internationally. He has authored the Textbook and Atlas "Patologia e Clinica Endodontica", the textbook and atlas "Endodontology. An integrated biological and clinical view", also translated into Chinese, Russian, Japanese. He has also authored or co-authored 22 book chapters.
